2014 Japan Yukata Kai

This dish is mimicking "菊の被綿"(きせわた), which is a traditional practice (no longer commonly practiced) associating with one of five seasonal festivals in Japan (節句).
Put a cotton ball over a Chrysanthemum flower and leave it outside over night to soak it with the morning dew. It was believed that you would live longer if you wipe your body with this Chrysanthemum scented and lightly-moistened cotton ball.
