2012 Flower Garden

I didn't expect I would see this much variety of flowers in Japan. Summer time in Japan is hot and humid, particularly in June (because of monsoon rain). It was almost unbearable for me to travel in such climate but it seemed a blessing for the nature.

The following is a collection of flowers from the photos I took during my trip. I didn't ask and keep their names (common name / Latin name) and the collection was not taken to cover flowers exhaustively. The order is mostly in chronological order with my trip.

Hydrangea was very colorful and beautiful. The flower is commonly associating with Japan's rainy season (monsoon rain).

I probably should have taken a photo of rice field as I saw rice fields lasting for many miles along railroad tracks.
